ITS hosts a large number of services that are useful to researchers. Just a few of them are high speed hosting and storage; the Secure Remote Archive, an inexpensive storage for large amounts of data that are not needed for immediate work; Red Cloud Secure, an on-demand research computing service available by subscription developed by the Cornell University Center for Advanced Computing; and VIVO, which provides detailed profiles of faculty and researchers at Weill Cornell.
ITS also supports all the electronic systems necessary for submitting, administering and reporting grants and research projects (both clinical and basic sciences)
CREST – A system to manage study definitions, subject enrollment, accruals, and invoicing for clinical research. iLab – A web-based software program that stores data for Core Facility management, Lab management, and Inventory management lab services.
Electronic Institutional Review Board (eIRB) – An electronic submission system to submit documentation related research proposals involving human subjects to the IRB office.
Conflicts of Interest (COI) – A web-based application for Annual Surveys of external interests as well as Study Specific Reports (SSRs).
