Work with Excel within your BI reports

If you run Business Intelligence (BI) reports in the Weill Business Gateway, you can now take advantage of our new Analysis for Excel functionality available in several reports. This new feature allows you to use Microsoft Excel functionality within your BI reports – no more exporting data! You can modify report layouts, add formulas, and visualize data like you would in Excel, while also keeping the same reporting features you use today. Additionally, you can save and access personalized reports, and share your favorite reports with others.

 

Reports with Excel functionality

At this time, the following reports include the Excel feature, although we plan on adding it to more reports in the future. Note that your access to these reports is dependent on your role at the college:

  • Employee Basic Data
  • Fund Detail Statement
  • Grant Detail Statement
  • PO Fund Statement by Financial Location
  • Line of Credit Order Details
  • Organizational Structure
  • Purchase Order Life Cycle
  • Shopping Cart by Status
  • Shopping Cart Details
