Adobe Creative Cloud

Also known as

Also known as:
  • Acrobat
  • Acrobat Pro
  • Creative Suite
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign

ITS offers licensing for the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to WCM faculty and staff. This software is provided at no additional cost to users with a legitimate business need. The Creative Cloud suite offers the latest tools for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography.

Eligible employees of WCM can apply for a Creative Cloud individual license by filling out this form. While there is no fee for the license, license approval can take up to 10 business days. You will be able to use Creative Cloud immediately under Adobe's 30-day trial license until your WCM license is approved (view installer instructions). The 30-day trial installation may only work properly if you are using an open or research network computer (i.e., user has full administrative rights).  If you are on a locked computer, ITS support will assist with the installation.

Service Requirements

Weill Cornell's Creative Cloud license is available to WCM staff and faculty with an ITS-tagged computer who have a legitimate business need.

Restrictions

While there is no additional cost at this time for the software, WCM currently has a limited number of licenses available. Licenses are available for active WCM faculty and staff; once you leave the institution, your Creative Cloud license will be terminated.

Anyone wishing to obtain Creative Cloud for personal use or wishing to retain access post-separation may do so by purchasing a discounted license from weillcornell.onthehub.com

Please note if you intend to use Creative Cloud on a Virtual Desktop (VDI), all products in the suite may not work optimally. The full suite of products should be run on systems meeting the system requirements noted by Adobe for the best experience. ITS will be investigating options for improved support on Virtual Desktops in the future.
