With the launch of WRG-SP, salary release and management is now active for all WCM departments. This functionality enables base salaries to feed directly from SAP to WRG-SP as personnel are added to submission budgets, eliminating the need to retrieve salary directly from SAP and validate with colleagues outside of your department.
Given the confidential nature of this information, users must release their salary to a proposal in order for it to populate within a budget. Salary release can be approved via an emailed system notification by either the employee listed on the budget or departmentally designated salary managers. It is critical that faculty and staff act on release notifications to ensure timely completion of submissions within WRG-SP.
