Resolved - Verizon currently experiencing Nationwide Cell Phone Outages

ITS is aware of an issue that Verizon is having resulting in Nationwide Cell Phone Service Disruption and Outages. If you are an affected Verizon cell phone customer and need to use your phone, the suggestion is to connect to WiFi and use Voice over WiFi. It may require you to put yourself in Airplane mode for the phone to prioritize this route for calls.

2:40pm update: There are indications as yet not confirmed that Verizon FiOS internet service may also be affected by these disruptions
