myAccount allows you to reset your password through a simple web interface when you have forgotten it. Your password is synchronized among numerous WCM and NewYork-Presbyterian systems, such as Epic and Eclipsys. myAccount requires you to choose strong passwords that are difficult to guess in order to protect your accounts at WCM.
ITS also offers an additional and optional service, known as LastPass, that helps you manage your password in support of institutional policies that encourage you to create strong passwords and change them often. LastPass will not only remember and autofill all your passwords, but will also generate strong, unique passwords for all your accounts. More information is available in our LastPass user guide.
Never share your password with anyone. ITS will never ask you for your password via email or when you contact us for technical support.
