Epic (EMR)

Epic is a sophisticated application that has been designed to perform most of the workflows for our practices to provide patient care in the outpatient setting, including registration, scheduling, visit documentation, and billing. It also provides a method for departments to release information to appropriate external entities as well as provide our patients with a portal into their information. 

Modules in the Epic application include but are not limited to:

• Prelude for registration
• Cadence for scheduling and optional patient appointment reminders
• EpicCare Ambulatory for patient care activities
• Resolute Professional Billing for the revenue cycle
• MyChart (branded Weill Cornell CONNECT) for the patient portal
• Release of Information (ROI) for medical record releases
• Beacon for Ambulatory based Infusions
