To assist Weill Cornell units in the daily operation and upkeep of their websites, the ITS Web Operations team offers a suite of Web Maintenance services. A variety of change requests, reporting, and consulting help can be requested and executed through a ticketing system.
What's Included
General Web Updates - editing or updating of existing pages, creation of new content pages, site homepage modifications, development of image slideshows, and the resolution of all web site-related problems.
Design Work - consultation and design of various marketing and web materials; newly created image banners, custom graphics, and more.
Analytics - Web Operations employs Google Analytics across all Weill Cornell web properties. Units may request user accounts, reports, or to schedule training sessions with a member of the team.
Accessibility - Web Operations can work with clients in evaluating various aspects of their web sites to ensure web accessibility compliance.
Search Engine Optimization - Web Operations can work directly with content editors on your site to analyze keyword traffic and offer suggestions that might improve its visibility and ranking.
Marketing and Social Media Strategy – In conjunction with External Affairs, Web Operations can serve as a resource for the strategy and integration of paid advertisement or social media with departmental websites. An increased use of analytics can also provide key metrics for marketing departments interested in monitoring traffic on their sites.
