The Office of Service Portfolio Management (OSPM) strives to create a foundation for consistent project success by controlling and assisting the WCM ITS project portfolio. Project management is defined as the discipline of planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to achieve specific goals. In the context of WCM ITS, it means applying the PMO methodology and practices to a project of work, in order to increase the chance of project success.
Mission of the OSPM
The mission of the WCM Office of Service Portfolio Management (OSPM) is to provide a flexible service model to facilitate the management of Weill Cornell's project portfolio. Our services provide the necessary structure to execute the institution's tripartite mission to achieve excellence in education, research and high-quality patient care.
How Do I Get Started?
Complete the New Project Request Form, which is designed to describe the project and its intended objectives, and allows you to indicate a funding source, discuss the benefits to the college, and request a tentative start and completion date.
