Apple today released iOS 7.1 which is an update for its mobile operating system. ITS has identified an incompatibility with this iOS update and our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, also known as Mobile Iron or “myDevice”.
How this affects you:
Your iPhone or iPad will prompt you to update to iOS 7.1. Please disregard this update until ITS is able to update our Mobile Device Management system; otherwise you may lose connectivity to Exchange Email and Calendar if you accept this update prior to our systems upgrade.
We will perform this system update to our Mobile Device Management system tonight between 10:00pm-12:00am. If you have updated already, once our MDM system has been upgraded, connectivity to Exchange Email and Calendar will be restored.
