Internet with ease.
This summer, ITS will be launching eduroam, a wireless access service used by
thousands of educational institutions in the United States and worldwide. When you visit a
participating institution, you'll be able to obtain wireless access by using your own WCMC credentials. No
complicated setups. No need to memorize different user names and passwords.

eduroam (short for education roaming) is the secure,
worldwide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It will allow
students, researchers, and staff from Weill Cornell to obtain Internet connectivity when visiting other
participating institutions by simply opening their laptop or using their mobile device. With eduroam, you can:
Where can I access eduroam?
When you're at Weill Cornell, you will continue to use our WMC
Secure network to access all of our WCMC resources. However, when you travel to other institutions, like Cornell
University in Ithaca, you can access the Internet wirelessly via eduroam. You can view the extensive list of participating institutions at the eduroam website.
