Dec. 10: QIAGEN IPA Labs

Register now to join us at the Samuel J. Wood Library Computer Lab to learn how you can use QIAGEN IPA (Ingenuity Pathway Analysis) to help generate results for your next experiment, publication or grant.

Tuesday, December 10, 2024
Samuel J. Wood Library
Library PC Computer Lab

Time: 9:00am - 11:00am

Topic: QIAGEN IPA Interpret and RAP (RNAseq Analysis Portal)

Learn how IPA’s newest tools can help you streamline your process of working with RNAseq data

  • Go quickly from FASTQ files to usable data for IPA and other platforms directly from IPA using the RNAseq Analysis Portal
  • Easily identify and summarize the biological themes in your results with the help of AI, creating a shareable, interactive report
  • Automatically compare your data to a curated library of >200,000 OmicSoft datasets
  • Identify the 200 analyses with the most similar and dissimilar gene expression patterns and dig into the metadata associated with these patterns.

Time: 11:30am - 1:30pm

Topic: Take advantage of IPA even when you don’t have data

  • Want to have IPA profile and return all data in the QIAGEN Biomedical Knowledge Base of over 13.5 million findings related to YOUR specific area, gene or disease of interest in less than 3 minutes AND provide you with links to the source of that information – link to publication, clinicatrials.gov info and more?
  • Want to have IPA help you predict/theorize what would happen when you knockout a gene and the impact it would have on particular downstream biological processes?
  • Instead of wading through tons of publications and reprocessing data from SRA or a GSA project, want to get straight to the biological themes and significance?

Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm

Topic: Q&A with Field Applications Scientist

  • Get some 1:1 help with your project when you submit your questions ahead of time and have Shawn Prince, Senior Field Applications Scientist help you find the fastest path to your answer in IPA.

Hope to see you there!
