Icon for "Old Weill Business Gateway" will be removed from myApps on 2/29

On Saturday, February 29 ITS will remove the icon named “Old Weill Business Gateway” from myApps. You can continue to access the current Weill Business Gateway at https://wbg.weill.cornell.edu.

This icon for the Old Weill Business Gateway was maintained in myApps following the 2019 WBG upgrade to allow users time to transition to the new WBG. We hope you are comfortable using the current WBG as we prepare to decommission the old site.

How do I access the Weill Business Gateway?

Accessing WBG got easier after the December 2019 WBG upgrade, which included a move to a cloud-based platform. You no longer need myApps (Citrix) to access WBG from outside the network. Instead, you can access the Weill Business Gateway (WBG) using the internet + Duo. 

1. Go to https://wbg.weill.cornell.edu and login with your WCM credentials.
2. If you are not on the WCM network or VPN, you’ll receive a prompt from Duo multi-factor authentication. Respond to the prompt. You’re in!

A few notes on WBG access:

• If you’re not already enrolled in Duo, sign up today at duo.weill.cornell.edu.
• Mac users who need to access Analysis for Excel BI Reports must continue to use MyApps

• (Qatar users) Accessing Analysis for Excel reports
• PC users in Qatar can install the Analysis for Excel client using this box link. After you install, restart your computer.
• To access Analysis for Excel outside the network, you need to use VPN (Cisco AnyConnect) and Duo.

How do I access BI Reports in the new Weill Business Gateway?

You can access all BI reports via the App Finder.  To access BI Launch Pad Reports click Catalog. To access BI Portal Reports click User Menu.

Note: The search within WBG will not find individual BI Portal Reports unless the individual report is pinned as a tile. To search for BI Portal Reports, use the search functionality under User Menu.

I use the Old Weill Business Gateway icon to access my customized tiles and groups. What should I do?

You should re-create these customizations in the new WBG. You can click the Old Weill Business Gateway icon in myapps.weill.cornell.edu UNTIL 2/29 to reference your previous customized tiles, groups and BI Reports.
