Improved secure file transfer service

The WCM File Transfer Service has moved from transfer.med.cornell.edu to transfer.weill.cornell.edu. 

As of Monday September 16th, you will log in to the new service at transfer.weill.cornell.edu. You will see a redesigned interface and an improved user experience. Our file transfer service is the WCM-approved application for sending large files securely (up to 35 GB). 

More about the new file transfer service

• Access the new file transfer service at transfer.weill.cornell.edu
• Login with your CWID and password 
• The file size limit is 35 GB for internal or external users
• The previous site at transfer.med.cornell.edu will be available in read-only until October 22nd, 2019. You can login to view old data, but you won’t be able to use it to send files or register. 
• Files stored on the previous site will NOT be migrated to the new site. If you need to retrieve old data, login to the previous site at transfer.med.cornell.edu by October 22ndand download your files and contacts.

Can external users (e.g. users who do not have an @med.cornell.edu email address) access the new site?

External users must be invited by someone at WCM in order to send or receive files. For instructions on how to invite an external user to register, open this knowledge article: How to invite and register an external user in File Transfer.
