ITS Announces Technology Education And Computer Help (TEACH)

The Information Technologies & Services Department (ITS) is pleased to announce a new service called Technology Education And Computer Help (TEACH).

TEACH is a training program offering Weill Cornell employees the opportunity to develop their computer skills. The courses offered through this program are based on the applications and services provided by ITS. Through the TEACH program, ITS hopes to better understand the training needs of the WCMC community and support the success of the Medical College.

TEACH sessions will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays in Olin Hall Rm. 211, from 12pm-1pm, beginning in April 2008. Course offerings will be updated once a quarter. The initial TEACH courses include:

  • Eudora E-mail Tips and Tricks
  • Creating and Managing an E-mail Distribution List Using Listserv
  • Introduction to Oracle Calendar
  • Intro to Creating Electronic Documents with Adobe Acrobat

Please review the course descriptions, discuss attending with your supervisor, and enroll in upcoming courses. Seats are limited and registration is required.

We look forward to seeing you in an upcoming training class!
