Weill Cornell is undertaking a major initiative to improve the accuracy of work contact information in the college directory. Dean Glimcher requests that all WCMC faculty and staff validate their existing records. Also, please ensure at least one phone number is visible to the institution.
Here's how to update your profile
Please log in to Online Directory at https://directory.weill.cornell.edu. Editing your profile requires that you be on the WCMC network, which means you must be on campus or use a Citrix session for access. Changes you make here appear in the people search publicly available from the college home page. Please note you may receive an automated email message reminding you to review and update your contact information such as email, phone, preferred name, and work location.
Enhancements
ITS has made some great enhancements to your profile in our new Online Directory! Starting today, you can check out some of the new features we've added to the site.
When applicable, your new profile includes links to your POPS and VIVO profiles, as well as your National Provider Identifier (NPI) number. This gives you a more well-rounded profile that provides users a better picture of your work at WCMC in one convenient place.
What about myProfile?
Portions of myProfile will be retired, including:
· Update preferred name
· Specify location/phone number
However, please continue to use myProfile to retrieve new user passwords, manage list subscriptions, and edit emergency contact info. Eventually, some of this functionality will move over to Online Directory.
Personal contact information
Note that you may update your work contact information in the Online Directory, while your personal contact information--including your permanent home and mailing addresses--may be updated in Employee Self-Service.
