Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at approximately 10:00 a.m. will be the first quarterly test of "Weill Cornell Alert," the emergency notification system used by Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC).
WCMC has maintained an emergency notification system for many years, but this upgraded system now includes all WCMC students, faculty, and staff. Information and instructions during an emergency impacting WCMC will be sent using this system. Weill Cornell Alert can send simultaneous notifications to all students, faculty, and staff, or select groups via phone, text, and email.
This test will include work email, cell phone, and work phone. When the system calls or emails you, be sure to confirm receipt. More information about Weill Cornell Alert is available on the WCMC Emergency Information website.
Weill Cornell Alert contact information is fed from the WCMC Directory. Please take a few minutes to log into the directory and update your contact information.
