What is the Summary Account Statement?    

The Summary Account Statement combines seven separate stories from BI Gateway into a single, streamlined unified view - simplifying access and improving the overall user experience by bringing together key data and insights in one place. 

• Consolidated Access: Users can now work within a single interface, eliminating the need to navigate across multiple BI gateway stories. 
• Faster Performance: Report generation is significantly quicker compared to the original stories on BI Gateway. 
• Improved Usability: This solution directly responds to long-standing user feedback for a more integrated and intuitive reporting experience. 
• Beta Launch: This solution is being released in beta to collect user feedback and support iterative enhancements. 
  
  

What stories does the Summary Account Statement combine? 

Enhancements to Summary Account Statement

Access and Visibility

• Access is based on your existing permissions for Funds and Sponsored Programs.
• Dashboards appear automatically in Power BI Apps if your role includes access; if not listed, your role does not have access.

Enhancements to the Summary Account Statement

• Fund Center Levels 1–3 integrated into the ‘Detail’ Page for granular analysis.
• Export functionality made clearly visible for easier data downloads.
• Refined formatting for improved clarity and usability.
• New Activity Statement introduced as an embedded section.

What is the Activity Statement?    

The Activity Statement provides a comprehensive view of financial activity for both Funds & Sponsored Programs.

• For Funds, it highlights key financial indicators such as beginning balance, year-to-date activity, current month activity, and ending balance.
• For Sponsored Programs, it provides a view of all year-to-date Expense and Payment Receipt activities, along with the current month expense activity.
• Includes data for current year and prior fiscal year (FY2025 and FY2026).

1. Log into app.powerbi.com 
2. Click Apps   
3. Click on Summary Account Statement   

Summary Account Statement access depends on your existing level of access for Funds and Sponsored Programs.
