Intro to macros in Microsoft Excel

Utilizing macros in Microsoft Excel adds increased functionality and automation, saving you time and effort when creating reports, and adding new layers of sophistication to your reporting and data manipulation. During this session, we’ll cover a few beginner-to-intermediate macro functionalities that you can use right away, like:

 

  1. How to record, edit and write macros.
  2. Basic Visual Basic (VBA) coding principles which is the computer coding language the run behinds the scenes for Excel macros.
  3. Integrating macros with file and email automation (time permitting).
  4. Reviewing macro security best practices.
