8/26: New place to view your vital system information – Windows computers

ITS is deploying a new tool to Windows users at WCM that makes it easier to view vital system information at a glance.

Windows users: Starting at 10:00 PM on August 26, you will see Host Name, Serial Number, and OS information displayed in the bottom-right corner of your screen. This information will appear on a static basis and is intended to help streamline support and troubleshooting.

If you wish to remove this data from your desktop background, an uninstaller is available to all users in the WCM App Store.
