Changes in NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy

Starting Oct. 1, the NIH will implement updates to its Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Plan. Per the update, the NIH will require all existing awards and applications subject to the NIH DMS Policy to transition and align with the updated DMS Plan format, regardless of when the original application was submitted.
In this session, we’ll discuss:
- Formatting your DMS plan to ensure it’s compliant with NIH guidelines
- Selecting the appropriate data repositories for your research
- Opportunity for general Q&A about NIH data and publication sharing policies
