On Tuesday, Aug. 15, Weill Cornell Medicine is continuing to take important steps to enhance email security and protect our community from impersonation and phishing attacks. We will implement another phase of our security protocols (also known as DMARC) for inbound email from external senders.
If, after Aug. 15, you believe a legitimate email sent by an external sender was blocked, please check your spam folder. If you don’t see the message in your spam folder or are still having issues receiving an email from an external sender, please submit an incident with myHelpdesk or by calling the ITS Service Desk at 212-746-4878.
DMARC is a crucial email security measure that helps prevent impersonation and phishing attempts, and your cooperation in this matter is highly appreciated.
