As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security, streamline device management, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, on Monday April 15th at 7pm, ITS will be enrolling all ITS-tagged Windows devices in Microsoft Intune, our cloud-based device management solution.
What is Microsoft Intune?
Microsoft Intune provides advanced security features to protect your work devices and organizational data. This includes enforcing encryption, rolling out new self-service features, and enabling remote capabilities to safeguard data in the event of loss or theft. Microsoft Intune is for Windows devices only.
What do I need to do?
No action is required on your part to initiate the enrollment.
After the enrollment is complete, you may see your account photo on the Windows login screen, as well as other minor aesthetic changes.
