Ensure your Duo Mobile app is updated by Jan. 23

Duo is updating its infrastructure in early 2026. As a result, the Duo Mobile app will only work if it meets the new minimum version requirements. ITS has identified that your Duo Mobile app does NOT meet the new minimum version requirements. Your app must be upgraded by Friday, Jan. 23, otherwise you will lose access to all WCM applications that require Duo authentication.

  • iOS: Duo will only be supported on iOS 15 or later.
    • The iOS Duo Mobile app must be version 4.85.0 or later.
  • Android: Duo will only be supported on Android 11 or later.
    • The Android Duo Mobile app must be version 4.85.0 or later.
    • Note: Duo does not support non-standard Android devices (e.g., Huawei or devices running customized Android distributions/ROMs)

If your Duo Mobile app is already in compliance

You do not need to do anything further.

If your device is out of compliance

Please update your device’s operating system and/or Duo Mobile app before Jan. 23. If your device is older and does not support Duo’s new minimum version requirements, please install the latest Duo Mobile app on another device that is in compliance.
