Stryker, one of our medical equipment vendors, was the target of a cyberattack today. In response, ITS quickly cut off all WCM network traffic with Stryker and their associated domains. NYP IT has taken identical actions on the hospital’s network. While there is no indication that any of our systems have been compromised, Stryker has stated that its email system was accessed as part of the attack. All WCM faculty, staff, and students are urged to contact ITS Security at
its-security@med.cornell.edu before communicating with Stryker. Additionally, please report any suspicious emails or calls that may be seeking to gain access to institutional data.
