ITS is pleased to introduce Microsoft Loop, a new app to organize everything you do at WCM! Loop is a unique workspace where you can brainstorm, take notes, manage projects, create wikis, and combine all related files from other Microsoft apps in one convenient location. You can either keep your workspaces private, or share content with your colleagues with real-time collaboration in not just Loop, but synched across several Microsoft apps.

How does Loop work?
Loop is made up of three pieces:
- Components: Portable content – like lists, tables, notes, and more – that stay in sync across all apps as they’re shared. Make changes to a Loop component in Teams, and it updates anywhere it’s been shared!
- Pages: A blank, flexible canvas to bring together your components, people, and other ideas.
- Workspaces: Shared spaces to view and group everything important in a given project.
What can I do with Loop?
Loop doesn’t replace any Microsoft apps, but enhances them so you can share and store files from one central hub. Here are a few ideas of how you can use it:
- Brainstorming: Come up with a cool idea? Loop is a blank slate to jot down your ideas, links, images, and files that you can refer to at any time and access from anywhere you have internet.
- Project Management: Create workspaces for each of your projects to keep track of your work. Loop has customizable templates for meeting minutes, Scrum and Kanban boards, issue tracking, and more. Plus, decide to share all, or just parts of your workspace with anyone at WCM through Loop, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Whiteboard for real-time, synched collaboration.
- Create a team wiki: If you’ve got files for your team all over the place, try putting everything in Loop! You can create a wiki space and link to important documents and information, like procedures, reports, and other team data. Share the space as needed with team members, who can also share info, and make edits and comments.
