Adobe has announced that it will stop distributing and updating Flash Player after Dec. 31, 2020. Flash content will be blocked from running in Flash Player on this date by Adobe. As a result, ITS will no longer support any applications or services that use Flash.
What do you need to do?
All major software vendors have already stopped supporting Flash or will stop supporting Flash by Dec. 31st through standard updates. If you have separately installed Adobe Flash Player on your device, please remove it before the Dec. 31 deadline: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows or Uninstall Flash Player | Mac OS.
Do not download unauthorized copies of Flash Player from third-party sites. Unofficial copies are a likely source of malware and viruses and cannot receive updates against future security threats.
If you or your department are managing applications or services that may be impacted by Flash Player no longer being supported and need assistance in remediation, please submit an ITS Project Request via the ITS HelpDesk.
