Update iOS devices to protect against security vulnerability

Due to a critical security vulnerability affecting iOS services, ITS is recommending all iPhone and iPad users update their operating system as soon as possible to secure their devices.

What do you need to do?

On your iOS device, go to your Settings app and select General > Software Update. Then, select Update Now to begin the update:

Please note that your screen may vary slightly depending on which iOS version you are using. We recommend updating to iOS 26.3 for those on iOS 26, or iOS 18.7.5 for those on iOS 18.

What if my iOS device is set up to automatically install updates?

You will see a notification on your device from Apple that the update will install overnight while charging and connected to Wi-Fi.
