Starting Dec. 4: NYP desk phone replacement for 1300 York Avenue

On Monday, Dec. 4, NYP will begin staging and deploying new Cisco model phones to replace old desk phones (which start with 746-xxxx). The new phones will be activated the following week, starting Dec. 11. 

NYP staff will be visiting all buildings throughout 1300 York Avenue to provide the new equipment.   

How will this affect you? 

As NYP technicians deploy the new phones, there will be a brief interruption to your internet and phone connection. You will continue to use your old phone until it is cut over to new service starting the week of Dec. 11. 

At cutover, NYP deployment teams will check your new phones to ensure they’re functioning and a trainer will be on hand to assist with any questions on how to use the new device, but you can also review NYP’s guides or access Cisco's training videos (password is NYPCisco).

What do you need to do? 

Please facilitate their work, if possible. If you are unable to be interrupted for the deployment, please ask them to return at another time. If you experience any issues after the deployment, please contact:
