While running RStudio on your own computer is always an option, some projects or applications require collaborative work, high-power computing resources, or the ability to publish a dashboard or web application that others can view. ITS can support these uses through RStudio Team, a centrally-hosted service that allows users to work together in a shared analytic environment. Subject to data governance restrictions, WCM users can write R or Python code, share it with others in their lab or user group, and ultimately, through RStudio Connect, publish Shiny applications that other users can view.
