8/26: New place to view your vital system information – Windows computers

ITS is deploying a new tool to Windows users at WCM that makes it easier to view vital system information at a glance.

Windows users: Starting at 10:00 PM on August 26, you will see Host Name, Serial Number, and OS information displayed in the bottom-right corner of your screen. This information will appear on a static basis and is intended to help streamline support and troubleshooting.

Apollo wireless network available campus-wide for personal devices – no fees or tag required

Initially available only for students in limited locations, the WCM Apollo wireless network has expanded. Now, WCM students, faculty, and staff who need to access the internet using a personal (non-tagged) device - including laptops, mobile phones, Internet of Things devices, gaming consoles, AR/VR headsets, smart TVs and more – can gain access with Apollo in any Weill Cornell location.
