7/1: Changes to your Microsoft O365 account

Microsoft just recently released a new version of your online Office 365 account. Starting Tuesday, July 1, your account will look different the next time you log into o365.weill.cornell.edu.

What’s changed

When you log into your O365 account, you will be redirected to the new Apps tab, which contains all the web versions of your Microsoft apps:

You’ll also notice that Copilot has been moved to a separate Chat tab in the left navigation bar:  

While the look of the page has changed, the functionality of your account remains largely the same. Here is how the new, simplified sidebar navigation works:

• Click Create to open a new file for any of your apps, such as a new Word document, Excel worksheet, PowerPoint presentation, etc. 

• Click Search to find any of your online files or apps. If you’ve designated any Favorite files, they are listed at the bottom of this screen. 

• Click your name or photo at the bottom left of your screen to sign out of your account. The three dots next to your name allow you to access your account settings. 

• If you want to log in directly to your email account, visit webmail.med.cornell.edu.
