On Friday, Oct. 9, ITS will be pushing a new version of Cisco AnyConnect to all Mac users on both tagged and untagged devices. This change will mitigate any issues with Apple's impending release of its new operating system, Big Sur.
The next time you log into Cisco AnyConnect, your application will begin automatically downloading an update to version 4.9.0.2028. This installation will take just a few minutes.
You can confirm whether you have the latest version installed by selecting Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client > About Cisco AnyConnect on the menu bar at the top of your screen:
