SASP to display the CTSC requirement as “Not Applicable” for all studies

Scheduled Maintenance

Description

The connection between the Study Activation Status Page (SASP) in WRG and WebCAMP, the system used by the CTSC, continues to be unstable and cause outages for investigators and study teams accessing SASP. Given the critical nature of the issue, ITS has disabled the CTSC - WebCAMP connection to SASP, which will result in SASP displaying “Not Applicable” for all studies, even when CTSC approval is required.

How Will This Affect You?

This change will help ensure SASP remains available and functioning as expected. A CTSC-IRB workflow is in place for studies requiring CTSC review, and furtherengagement between CTSC and IRB stakeholders is underway. Additional communication about this new workflow is forthcoming.  While this change to SASP is not ideal, we are confident that the combination of the new workflow, low volume of studies requiring CTSC review, communications to study teams about the change, and improved SASP performance will be an overall improvement for the WCM/NYP research community.
