How to connect to the WCMC wireless network

If you are a new student or employee, you will need to configure your computer to access the WCMC Wi-Fi network for the first time. Follow the instructions below to successfully connect your laptop or mobile device. Please note that your device must first be tagged by ITS in order access this network; contact the Service Desk or visit the SMARTDesk for assistance.

Connect to WCMC from Windows

1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the right side of the Taskbar.
2. Select WCMC from the list of networks.

3. Check the Connect automatically box, then click the Connect button.

Connect to WCMC from a Mac

1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the right side of the Menu Bar.
2. Select WCMC from the list of networks.

3. Enter your CWID and password when you see the “The Wi-Fi network ‘WCMC’ requires WPA2 enterprise credentials” prompt. Check Remember this network, and click the Join button.

4. Click Continue when prompted to verify the network’s certificate.

5. Enter your computer’s password when prompted.

6. Enter your CWID and password to access the “WCMC” wireless network. Make sure the Remember this information box is still checked, and click OK.
