On December 14, WTMS will be upgraded to accept the login credentials from registered affiliate institution, such as New York-Presbyterian, Cornell University, and Rockefeller University.  This will change the WTMS login page, which will allow you to select your home institution and sign in with your institutional credentials. (Affiliates will be able to login only after they have been registered for training because of their work with WCM.)
 
Why would NYP, Cornell, or Rockefeller employees need to take courses in WTMS?
If an employee is working at WCM, but is being paid by another institution (e.g., NYP), he or she may need to complete training that is essential for working on campus, such as HIPAA regulations and fire safety. This upgrade to WTMS allows these employees from outside institutions to access WTMS securely with their own login information – no need to memorize another set of usernames and passwords.
 
How can these employees access WTMS?
Affiliates and employees will see a new landing page when accessing WTMS. If training for an affiliate is required, he or she will receive an email automatically generated from WTMS with a link to access their training. This is the new page you will see when visiting courses.med.cornell.edu:

Once here, you can click on your home institution and will be redirected to a familiar login page where you can use your own credentials to access the necessary course.
