Introducing PaperCut: Helping you print on campus

On Monday, June 24, ITS will be introducing PaperCut, our comprehensive print management system, to the Medical Library. All Weill Cornell faculty, staff, and students will have an account already set up to start using this system next week. Here's what you can expect with the new system:

Better printing options
Now when you print a document from one of the library's computers, you'll see the new PaperCut interface that allows you to select the appropriate printer, black and white or color, and tabulates printing costs. You can print black and white copies at 10ยข per exposure and color copies for $1 per exposure.

You can also print from your laptop with PaperCut's Web Print application by signing into print.weill.cornell.edu with your CWID and password. You can sign into Web Print from anywhere on campus (or even at home!) and release your documents for print at the library.

Easy credit tracking
Each PaperCut account includes a credit balance that helps you track how much money you have left to print documents. You can easily add money to your account by visiting the kiosk located near the library's entrance by the computers. Currently, the kiosk only accepts cash in $1, $5 and $10 bills. Directions are located on the kiosk to help you add money to your account.

If you previously had an OCS printing account with credit, don't worry! Your account information and credit will be seamlessly migrated to PaperCut.

We're happy to offer a more comprehensive printing system to meet your needs. Please check our website for additional information on using PaperCut, or contact our Service Desk for assistance.
