Keep your WCM passwords safe with LastPass

You know your passwords should look like this: %b96TO5JkW#x5!, but how are you going to remember that? WCM ITS wants to make it easier for you to create strong passwords and keep them safe. We teamed up with LastPass, a top-rated password manager, to offer you a complementary account that you can keep, even if you leave WCM.

LastPass remembers and autofills your passwords, and other information like addresses and credit card numbers. It saves you time filling out web forms and generates strong, unique passwords for all of your accounts – whether they are for WCM or personal. Just create an account with your Weill Cornell credentials, then create a personal account with your personal email info, and link them together for a seamless experience. And don’t worry, ITS can’t see any of your password info. It’s all kept locked up in the LastPass vault, visible only to you.

LastPass is an optional service for WCM users, but we highly recommend it. Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming announcement with instructions on how to create your WCM LastPass account and get started.  You can also learn more about why to use LastPass on the ITS website.
