Sept. 24: Making Digital Content Accessible

Tech Tuesday

Making Digital Content Accessible

Tuesday, Sept. 24

12 noon – 12:45 p.m.

Whether you create online documents, update websites, edit videos, or develop learning materials, it’s critical to ensure your content is accessible by faculty, staff, students, and patients with disabilities. Aside from being required at Cornell campuses, web accessibility improves the user experience for everyone. During this session, we’ll focus on defining Cornell University’s policies surrounding digital accessibility, and look into:

  • Best practices and benefits of creating accessible content
  • Accessibility tools and software
  • Answering your questions about web accessibility

Presenters: Rob Dietz & Cristina Koorie, ITS Instructional Technologies Team
