ITS has tested all major WCMC services with Apple's new operating system, OS X Mavericks. Based on our findings,
there seem to be no compatibility issues with the majority of services ITS provides, such as email and calendar
(Microsoft Outlook) services, and other applications, such as Epic, VDI, and Weill Business Gateway.
Although ITS supports Apple Mail and iCal, we highly recommend using Microsoft Outlook or Webmail
(outlook.med.cornell.edu) for your email and calendar. We have received reports of Apple Mail and iCal not syncing
properly with our Microsoft Exchange email system. These are widely reported issues that are not exclusive to
WCMC.
Additionally, we have uncovered an issue with a specific server through the Finder. Departments that
use the elearn-docs.weill.cornell.edu/feed-edit/ server may experience difficulties gaining access. However, we are
currently working to resolve this issue.
