Backup Policy

ITS backup policy can change based on the application and data. However, if it is not specified, the terms below generally apply:

• Backups occur from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (EST)
• Files must be closed to be backed up
• Any server files left open during the backup window cannot be backed up
• Databases using server files are subject to the same conditions (i.e., an open database cannot be backed up)
