About SMARTFest

ITS and the Samuel J. Wood Library are pleased to bring back SMARTFest for its sixth year on February 28, 2019. SMARTFest is an annual event that promotes emerging tech and helpful services for WCM faculty, staff, and students. This page will be updated periodically as we release more information about participants, scheduling, prizes, and more.

The WCM Here! app allows you to check into various events around WCM, including Grand Rounds, lectures, and more. We'll have two locations for you to check into SMARTFest - in the library and in Griffis Faculty Club. Make sure you download the app and check into both events for the chance to win an amazing raffle prize.

If you have a tagged mobile device, look for WCM Apps on your device and download the app from there.

Personal (Untagged) Devices

Register your information

When you open the app for the first time, you'll be prompted to register with your first name, last name, and WCM email. Please do this in order to use this app properly, and be eligible to win a raffle prize. Please note that this information will be shared with our SMARTFest vendors.

How to be eligible for a prize

There are three ways to be eligible for a raffle prize:

1. Visit SMARTFest booths. Walk around SMARTFest and learn more about our services from the experts at each booth. Every time you learn about a service, you get a raffle ticket.

2. Attend demos. Demos are 20 minutes long and feature some great information on particular services we offer. Raffle prizes will be given out at the end of each demo.

3. Download and use the WCM Here! app. The WCM Here! app allows you to check into the event using your mobile device. Make sure you check into both the library and Griffis for a chance to win two special prizes. Details on how to download the app are available in the Download the WCM Here! app tab.
