Description
ITS will be performing system upgrades on the ServiceNow/Weill Service Center site on Friday, October 8th at 7 pm to Saturday, October 9th at 7 am. Parts of the system may be inaccessible during the upgrade, andyou may experience delays or degraded service on the myHelpdesk, HR Solution Center, and myEHS sites.
How will this affect you?
- Parts of the system may be inaccessible during the upgrade window. If you do need to access and place tickets on the myHelpdesk, HR Solution Center, and myEHS sites, save your work often to avoid data loss. There may be delays in processing your requests.
- Emails sent to support@med.cornell, ehs@med.cornell, and hrsc@med.cornell.edu during the maintenance period may be delayed.
- There will be no impact to current forms, workflows, or processes.
- New feature: The Oct. 2021 upgrade introduces a new feature, Natural Language Query, which allows you to enter plain language in the Now Platform user interface to quickly find answers from your data in lists and reports.
Natural Language Query is a new feature bring introduced in the Oct. 2021 ServiceNow upgrade. In any list view, you can type your queries in the window at the top of the screen to get answers from your data. Click “Tips for improving your queries” to read instructions on using the tool.
