Emergency Maintenance
Description
ITS will be performing system upgrades on the ServiceNow/Weill Service Center site on Friday, April 9 from 7 pm to April 10 at 7 am. Parts of the system may be inaccessible during the upgrade, and you may experience delays or degraded service on the myHelpdesk, HR Solution Center, and myEHS sites.
How will this affect you?
- Parts of the system may be inaccessible during the upgrade window. If you do need to access and place tickets on the myHelpdesk, HR Solution Center, and myEHS sites, save your work often to avoid data loss. There may be delays in processing your requests.
- Emails sent to support@med.cornell, ehs@med.cornell,and hrsc@med.cornell.edu during the maintenance period may be delayed.
- There will be no impact to current forms, workflows, or processes.
- You may notice a couple of visual changes after the upgrade. These include:
- Existing tickets will provide an Action button which gives you the option to “Resolve” and “Close” an Incident.
- Existing Incidents and Requests will display a tab in the middle pane of the screen for Attachments, which was formerly located in the lower-right corner.
- Existing Requests will display a tab in the middle pane of the screen for Additional Details, which was formerly located in the lower-right corner.
