Description
ITS will be deploying a security tool called Aruba OnGuard agent to all tagged ITS laptops and desktops starting on Monday, June 24 at 7 p.m. Please keep your device on the evening of June 24 so that the tool can be installed remotely.
What is Aruba OnGuard agent?
The OnGuard agent ensures the security of tagged devices on the WCM network by verifying that ITS management and security software is properly installed and operational.
I work from home or have a hybrid schedule. Can ITS still install the OnGuard agent to my computer?
When your computer is turned on and is connected to the internet, the agent will automatically install remotely.
How will I know OnGuard is installed on my computer?
On Macs, you will see a new icon located on the top right of the menu bar:
On PCs, you will see a new icon in the systems tray:
