9/29 – 10/2: WBG service disruption

Scheduled Maintenance

Description

UPDATE - 10/2 at 11:20 p.m.

The Weill Business Gateway is now available. As the HR, Payroll and ITS teams finish validations of the new Employee Central system, please note the impact to the following functions:

  • BI Reports data refresh delay: BI Portal Reports and BI Gateway Stories are currently available. However the data reflected is as of Wednesday, 9/28. The data will be refreshed as soon as all validations are completed. Additional updates will be provided by end of business Monday, 10/3.
  • SAP September financial close delay: Please stay tuned for more details from Finance on the updated schedule for the September close.

UPDATE - 9/30 at 11:17 a.m.

Select Weill Business Gateway functions are currently accessible via Firefox and Safari web browsers. ITS is currently troubleshooting issues with Chrome and Edge, and will provide another update when they are working.

UPDATE - 9/30 at 9:02 a.m.

Due to an unexpected issue, the Weill Business Gateway will not be back online at 9 a.m. EDT (4 p.m. ADT in Qatar) as originally planned. ITS is working on resolving this matter and we expect to have WBG available at 11 a.m. EDT (6 p.m. ADT in Qatar).

We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as we make progress on this issue.

eTime users

Managers & Exempt Employees

During the downtime, you will be unable to submit leave requests or make changes to your time sheet. Managers will be unable to approve or review their employees’ time sheets or schedules. It is highly recommended that you submit/approve your time sheet prior to 8 pm on Sept. 28, or by end of day Monday, Oct. 3

If you submit your timesheet on Monday, ensure that you submit your timesheet for the correct time period.

Non-Exempt Employees

Non-exempt employees can clock in and out during the downtime using the Clock-In app. You must install Clock-In and log in at least once before WBG downtime on Sept. 29.

Recorded times will automatically sync to the Weill Business Gateway (WBG) on after the system is back online, and the Desktop app is open and in Online mode. More details about Clock-In >>

How do non-exempt staff download Clock-In?

We strongly encourage all non-exempt staff with ITS-tagged computers to download the app from the WCM App Store. View instructions.

When downloading and using the Clock-In app, please keep in mind:

  • The app download may take 5-20 minutes, depending on your internet connection and computer. If you encounter any download issues, please reach out to the ITS Service Desk.
  • To ensure your clock-in/out times are recorded appropriately, please do not close the app immediately after clocking in/out. We encourage you to leave the window open or minimize it on your desktop during your workday.
  • If you share a computer with another WCM employee, you must be logged in to the computer under your account to clock-in/out. The user that is logged in displays in the upper left corner of the App.

If you cannot download the app and need to record punches over the weekend, please work with your supervisor, time admins and/or timekeepers to record your missing punches on Monday after the system is back up.
