As part of the construction of the Feil Family Student Center, the Library's 24/7 Study Room will not be accessible through the back door from May 17 - June 5. To accommodate students and residents who have 24-hour access, the Library will be accessible, via the front door only, overnight. The SMARTDesk will be staffed by Security during these hours, and only patrons with WCM and/or NYPH-Weill ID cards that automatically open the gates will be allowed to enter.
No additional services will be available during the overnight hours.
From May 29 to June 5, the area in front of the LC elevators will be reopened, but work will commence in front of the rear doors to the Library 24/7 room. This will hinder emergency egress and, therefore, the 24/7 room will be closed during normal hour as well as off hours for this week. The main area of the library will be open during this time for off-hour use.
