Register for Duo authentication by Jan. 28 for international access to myApps

Last year, ITS announced that it would soon be implementing Duo Two-Factor Authentication to access certain WCM websites when you are outside of our network. Duo provides an extra layer of security to safeguard your information using an extra “checkpoint” to confirm your identity.

Starting Thursday, January 28, Duo authentication will be required when accessing myApps internationally, with the exception of Qatar, Canada, and India.

How will this affect you?

If you attempt to log into the myApps website and you are outside of the United States, Canada, Qatar, or India, you will be unable to do so unless you have registered with Duo.

How can I enroll in Duo?

This service is available free of charge to all faculty, staff, and students. To enroll in Duo, please visit duo.weill.cornell.edu and provide the appropriate information (read detailed instructions). You can register several devices, including:

  • Mobile phones via app, SMS, or phone call (highly recommended)
  • Tablets via app
  • Landlines via phone call
