Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15

Apple has released its newest operating system, macOS Sequoia. 

ITS supports this new OS, and has verifed that all supported applications are compatible.

Should I upgrade to macOS Sequoia?  

If you use any applications not provided by ITS that are critical to getting your work done, ensure they are compatible with macOS Sequoia before you upgrade. You may need to look at the application’s website or contact their customer support team.   

Tips for a smooth upgrade 

Before you perform any OS upgrade, take these basic steps to protect your data and ensure that the upgrade runs smoothly: 

• Make sure you backup all your files on Time Machine. This requires an external hard drive, and can take many hours depending on the amount of data on your computer and the last time you made a backup.  
• Do you have enough disk storage space? macOS Sequoia requires 25GB of free disk space to install. How to see used and available storage on your Mac 

• Before upgrading, save all your work and close all applications.
