Four new updates coming soon to WCM Directory

On January 14, a series of new updates will launch in the WCM Directory, improving the security and functionality of how you use the tool.

SSO login required to search Directory

Previously, you only needed to login to the Directory to update your Profile. After Jan. 14, you’ll need to login with your CWID and Password to search the Directory as well.

New pronunciation feature

You can now record an audio file with the pronunciation of your name. The pronunciation recording will be available on the Summary tab of your Directory profile.

Cornell Ithaca will now appear in WCM Directory

Cornell Ithaca students, staff, and faculty will now be searchable in the WCM Directory. You can also filter results by affiliation, which will now include Cornell University (Ithaca) as an option.

Backend updates to organizational structure 

Our identity teams migrated and refined organizational unit data so that the Directory structure is more consistent with how WCM organizes roles and units. While most users won’t notice this change, DAs, IAMDELAs, and other Directory superusers will have an enhanced ability to add users, edit their contact information, and add records.
